Design

Every project at Moss House Interiors begins with design. This stage allows us to carefully understand your needs, measure your space, and create a tailored proposal that balances practicality with aesthetics.
As part of our design service you’ll receive:
A detailed consultation and site survey
Tailored layouts and design concepts
High-quality 3D visuals to help you picture the finished result
Mood boards and material selections (simple samples included; intricate or custom-made samples available at an additional agreed cost)
An itemised cost estimate and timeline
Our design fees start from £350 for single items (such as a fitted wardrobe) and from £650 for larger spaces such as kitchens. This fee is fully redeemable against your project if you choose to proceed, giving you complete clarity and confidence before work begins.
Integrated Furniture
Built-in, not added on.
Our integrated furniture is designed to feel like a natural part of your home—seamless, architectural, and highly functional. Whether it’s a full-height cabinet wall, a bench that wraps into the room, or concealed storage that blends into the background, these pieces are crafted to disappear into the fabric of the space until needed.
We work closely with you (and your architect or designer, if involved) to ensure the design responds to the proportions, materials, and practical needs of the room. The result is furniture that’s clean and calm, but full of intention—nothing wasted, everything considered.
Bespoke Joinery
Joinery with character and purpose.
Our bespoke joinery covers everything from traditional box sash windows and contemporary glazed doors to one-off conservatories, wall panelling, and more. We take pride in the accuracy and care that goes into every element—designed to suit the property, environment, and your preferences.
Using a mix of traditional and modern techniques, we ensure a precise fit, long-term durability, and timeless style. Whether restoring period features or creating something completely new, we treat each project as a collaboration, balancing craftsmanship with practical needs and planning considerations.
Stand-Alone Furniture
Functional. Sculptural. One of a kind.
We design and make stand-alone furniture for people who value craft and individuality. From dining tables and sideboards to bedside cabinets and storage pieces, every item is built by hand using carefully selected materials.
These pieces are ideal when you want something unique that isn’t tied to the architecture of the space. Whether bold and sculptural or subtle and minimal, each design is guided by use, proportion, and the natural character of the wood itself.
